Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR therapy is an evidence-based approach that supports the brain’s natural capacity to process and integrate distressing experiences. During EMDR therapy, individuals are guided to briefly attend to emotionally disturbing material while simultaneously engaging in structured external stimulation. This process can facilitate adaptive processing and support healthier integration of traumatic memories.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps individuals identify and examine unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may contribute to emotional distress. By exploring the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, CBT supports the development of practical coping strategies to improve emotional regulation and daily functioning.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, evidence-based treatment that supports individuals in developing skills to manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal effectiveness, and increase emotional stability. DBT emphasizes the balance between acceptance and change and focuses on building four core skill areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Play Therapy
Play Therapy is a developmentally appropriate therapeutic approach
that uses play to help children express emotions, explore experiences, and develop healthy coping skills. Grounded in the understanding that play is a child’s natural form of communication, this approach provides a supportive and safe environment for children to communicate thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express verbally.

Sand Tray Therapy
Sand Tray Therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses sand, miniature figures, and symbolic representation to provide a safe and contained space for expression and exploration. This modality allows individuals to externalize experiences, thoughts, and emotions—often those that may be difficult to articulate verbally—through the creation of scenes or narratives. Sand Tray Therapy may be facilitated in verbal or nonverbal ways and can be either directive or nondirective, depending on clinical needs. It is appropriate for both children and adults and supports the exploration of difficult or distressing experiences within a protected therapeutic environment.
